Quarter Error Coins
Quarter error coins just like any other segment of error coin collecting always draws a lot of interest. Ad to that the new state state quarter designs that have been produced and you could very well have a specialty collection just dealing in quarter error coins! As you well know, there are only two types of Washington quarters, those produced between 1932 and 1964 and those produced from 1965 and forward. Just like with many other error coins, it seems as if the various striking errors draw a tremendous amount of interest. Again, this is not to say that quarter error coins that are cuds, lamination errors and coin blanks are not desirable because they are. It just boils down to your own unique taste and investment strategy.
