Presidential Error Coins

With our country beginning a new Presidential dollar coin program, error coin collectors now have one more coin to to add to the list. Since the start of the minting process in February of 2007 with the issuing of the George Washington dollar, which was followed by the John Adams dollar, the amount and types of errors to this coins are quite numerous. With production in the millions, error coin collectors have a veritable feast of errors to choose from. As you probably already know, this program will feature 4 dead presidents a year until the year 2016. Since the minting of this new coin is a two step process, the amount of Presidential error coins that can be produced will be staggering. Besides the errors that have been associated with all coins, these newly designed coins have lettered edges and this is where most of the errors are being found. By now, you probably see the unending possibilities in this new series.
