When you start collecting and investing in dime error coins there seems to be a variety of possibilities. But if you step back and look at it, there really are only 4 categories of dimes in today's numismatic marketplace. They are, as most of you know, Barber dimes (1892-1916), Mercury Dimes (1916-1945), and 2 categories of Roosevelt dimes (1945-1964) and 1965 till present. Based on some gathered data, it seems as if the off centered strikes continue to hold a substantial value followed by cuds, blanks and broadstrikes. But please, it's not gospel as every market changes due to the great law of supply and demand. But no matter where you concentrate your coin collecting efforts, dime error coins can be quite the wise investment.
